ABSTRACT
This project was a through research into the role of banks in the developing economic of Nigeria.
It is to investigate the performance of banks and to what extend they have contributed in the economic development of Nigeria.
It also to verify economically the prudent management of banks and proffer suggestion on how improvement can be made to ensure the envisioned returns on investment and contribution towards the economic well being of the nation are achieved.
With all writing limit of the analysis will have mentioned or carried out, it was observed that many banks have some problem facing them due to the following point or reason.
- lack of sufficient fund
- lack of skilled workers
- lack of securities and packing spaces.
