ABSTRACT
This fact is generally recognized that small scale industries constitute the majority of business organization in Nigeria.
The problem tends to investigate the need for accounting education in the small –scale industries. The purpose of carrying out this study is to ascertain the necessity of accounting to enable them to manage effectively.
In this study, the researcher ties to find out if there is any relationship between accounting and management in small-scale industries. The area of investigation covered small-scale industries. But the researcher randomly selected few small-scale industries as his sample size.
The research used as an instrument for data collection. The result of the finding should that small-scale industries play important role in a economy that accountant’s managers of small-scale industries need to increase their managerial skill and internal control, if they acquire some training in accounting.
The researcher sees accounting as an inevitable knowledge in the management of small-scale business enterprises
