ABSTRACT
This study is specifically aimed at finding out the roles and contribution of chartered Accountants of Nigeria to manpower and economic development in Nigeria.
This study is to find out the immense contribution, which has been done by the institute of chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) to political, Economic and social advancement of this country.
There is poor management in most of the companies today. It involves both public and private companies.
This can also be traced to Government ministries these problem can of poor management can be attributed to ignoramus handling of Accounting work of these enterprises; they have little or imperfect knowledge in the field of Accounting and this may mar or collapse the organization there they are operating.
To find remedy to the above alls, this project provides a light of the impact of the institute of chartered Accountant of Nigeria in providing lasting solutions, in term of both the public and private enterprises.
This study provides a very useful idea on the impact of ICAN on political, Economic and social advancement and development of this country Nigeria.
