ABSTRACT

This project work was writing in attempt to give a unique touch on employee participation in decision making and organizational commitment. It deals with the nature of employees participation in organizational decision making and also the commitment of the employees in the organization good accomplishment as a result of their participation in the organization decision.
   In respect to this, the researcher made same findings, to determine the extent to which lack of employee participation in decision making., to recommend to modern managers  alternative programm to employee participation. To find out if employee participation might be positively related to employee commitment and to make save relevant contribution towards the study of organizational behavior in our country.
   The researcher also enclosed or disclosed three major factors that characterized organization commitment.

(i)A strong belief in and acceptance of the organizational goals and values.
(ii)A wiliness to exert considerable effort on behalf of the organization.
(iii)A strong desire to maintain membership in the organization.
    In remedy to the problems, the researcher recommended same ways of ensuring organizational employees participation in decision making.
   The management of the institute should adopt and apply employees participation programmes such as democratic management.
   The management should always implement any jointly made decision effectively.
    The management should create opportunities for staff growth, advancement and self-actualization.
