ABSTRACT
The aim of this project write up is to know the role and analysis the status of Information Technology in the banking sector. It is also part of the overall objectives to proffer solutions and policy recommendations in addressing the negative role it has played.
Research for this work entailed extensive reading of banking journal, periodicals, CBN and FBN publications, Magazines, Newspaper, articles. This work has potentials for the government, banking institutions, management financial experts and public good.
One major highlight of the project is that he banking sector need to sanitize and acquire enough Informational technology so as to restore public confidence and speed in the banking industry.
