ABSTRACT
This study is aimed at determining the roles of salt television in promoting environmental sanitation in Abakaliki Urban. Thus, environmental sanitation of this state affects it and needs to be addressed.To this regards questionnaire and interview were used as the instrument of data collection. Survey method which is very relevant to social science survey was also used. The hypotheses were tested using chi-square (X2) statistical procure. The researcher concludes that television plays an effective role in promoting environmental sanitation in Abakaliki Urban. I recommend that a similar exercise be carried out by students of various institutions about their states to enable us have comparisons between the students so that the exercise be taken seriously.
