INTRODUCTION
1.1 STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM AND PURPOSE OF THE STUDY
With few capital market in the country (Nigeria) the readily available market has continued to encourage economic growth and development with the material resource and labour at disposal, to easy the affair of the Nigeria people.
This research work will therefore be deliberating on the role of capital market in the economic growth of Nigeria and its achievement coupled with pointing out relevant goals such as economic growth accrued form the performance of the capital market and its relevant economic roles in the country. And also there are some conflicting views as to whether economic growth should be financed by capital market or not. The opposition to use of alternative and involve much administrative work
