ABSTRACT
The main primary objective of establishing the Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry (NBCI) was to Finance small and medium scale industries in Nigeria. Hence for effective handing of the task the bank thus established a branch office in almost each state of the federation. The bank has its headquarters in Lagos.
The aim of the project is to find out how far NBCI has been carrying out their obligation which is the financing of small scale industries in Nigeria since 1999-2005, and finally make useful suggestion and recommendation and conclusion.
