Abstract
This research work examines the Role of the Sun news paper towards Nigeria Political development, Caritas University being used as a case study because it happens to be the area where my research work can be done effectively. Materials gotten from this research work was from the school library, internet etc. Data were collected also through questionnaire distribution and collection. Survey research was used in this project, and finding shows that the impart of the sun newspaper on the political development of Nigeria is great and if the masses in caritas university exhibit the habit of reading newspaper and knowing what politics is all about in Nigeria ,there will be positive development in Nigeria. And also those in mass communication and political science who intend to go into politics and journalist profession should assess themselves to know whether they can do it in its ramifications. Also this work will be useful to them in order to know what politics is all about.
