Fuel has over the years been one of the most important sources of energy and no modern or industrialized nation will survive without it nor will a developing country like Nigeria attain a meaningful level of development without it. Industrial plants and processes need fuel oil while both manufacturing industries and domestic consumers require fuel, natural gas, coal, give wood or eaten saw dust for heating and cooling respectively. Without fuel, service industries will be founded, commercial transportation either in the form of motor vehicle. Transportation, commercial aviation or mass transportation of coals, services and people by rout, road and sea would have been unthinkable, in short modern automated manufacturing processes, mechanized agriculture, transportation construction health care and all other human erideavours which collectively constitute what is generally described as modern civilization would be so difficult if not impossible to achieve.
