ABSTRACT
Planning and control have become part and parcel of our daily lives. We may even resent it when it is imposed. But we have come to realize that it is an essential factor in national, business and private life. This project “Financial planning and control as a tool for management efficiency” aims to finding out how financial planning and control has helped management organization to achieve their efficiency.
Chapter one of this project gives a general introduction of what financial planning and control is all about, the purpose and significance of the study.
The research problems and reasons for the limitation of the study of few organizations out of the numerous organization in Nigeria. Chapter two comprises of a related literature to the topic in question. It is made up of different Textbooks, Journals, Magazines and Newspaper publication from which topic that provide a framework for planning the firm growth and developments of firm’s controls for its efficiency were reviewed.
Chapter three deals with the research methods used by the project writer in obtaining data for this work and indicates the numerous conclusion derived from chapter three and recommendation were made based on these conclusion.
