ABSTRACT
This work is a deliberate attempt to research into the financial problems of agricultural co-operatives in Enugu State (A case study of Udi L.G.A), It centers mainly on terms in all the different towns that make up Udi Local Government Area and fact were gathered through direct interviews with the agricultural officers on the area and finally date relating to agricultural co-operatives form the local government area headquarters from the town under study were carefully and randomly selected so as to represent the true picture of the financial problems of agricultural co-operative in the areas. This research work has 5 five chapters, chapter one contain a general discussion of the project topic, that is the introduction, it went to state the problems to be studied and why this study was carried out, the scope and limitation of the study and finally the positions and also the statement and objectives of the topic. A number of past related literature examined by other students as it relates to the financial problem of agricultural co-operatives are highlighted in chapter two, chapter three deals with the methodology and research design of the study, the methods used in collecting relevant data. it also deals with the way the questionnaires were distributed and the treatment of data. It also deals with the way the questionnaires were distributed and the treatment of data. Chapter four deals with the presentation, analysis and interpretation of data. Finally the summary of findings/conclusion and recommendation made by the researcher are all in chapter five, if the agricultural co-operatives would put the recommendations made in the study to use there will not only be satisfied societies, but a contentions increase in surplus made, there by making the financial problems of the agricultural co-operative societies a thing of the past.
